Lee Perkins

Former radio host and educator Lee Perkins passed this morning. Lee was on-air host at a number of radio stations, including KJR and KOL Seattle, KISN Portland, from the 50s into the 60s, and taught broadcasting to numerous students at Bates Technical in Tacoma. Lee and his wife later owned the radio stations in Enterprise, Oregon, along with a bed & breakfast. After Lee and Carolee sold their stations, they moved to Ocean Shores, and until the past few years was an occasional guest on our local talk show. Lee was always a friendly and gracious person. Lee Perkins was 91, and those of us who knew him will miss him greatly.
