Lee Sausley announces KRIS 6 retirement

https://mikemcguff.blogspot.com/2020/09/lee-sausley-kris-6-retirement-corpus-christi.html

Congrats to life after TV.

After almost more than four decades in the television news business, KRIS 6 Corpus Christi evening anchor Lee Sausley announced his retirement tonight on the station's 6pm newscast:

After 45 years in the broadcast news business, I have decided to retire at the end of October.

As many of you may know, I'm an artist and I plan to spend a lot more time exploring those interests.

My beautiful wife, Kelly and I, are moving up to the Texas Hill Country where we have a lot of family and friends.

So, it's been a very pleasurable experience to work here and work with this community of the past 38 years.

October 30th will be Sausley's last day according to the station.

Sausley joined KRIS in 2002 after anchoring across the street at KIII.
