Leibo is "live" and "local"

Leibo is "live" and "local" -- and it shows. He knows local issues and people. He knows pronunciations of local politos (even if the producer does not get when he is being sarcastic).
If he assumes the gig, should Crummey begin to perspire?
Heard first-hand that Jim Sharpe did not want that shift as it does not suit a father's schedule.
Heard second-hand that Ken Voight would like a shot.
Heard third-hand that Leibo was offered the gig before, but said, "nyet...???"

Being live, local and first didn't help KT'R.

Nope. The Evil One doesn't take much of this stuff seriously, thus his ability to find humor in it.

Nurse Jeff and I'll buy all three suppositions. Anyone care to comment on the rumor that Connor was sent to the CCU farm team in Yuma?

Conner would claim on air that before he was a radio talk show host he was a "therapist..." -- but he did not always clarify that his clients did not lie on a couch...but on a table--for their massages... He is, in fact, a "massage therapist." Lots of resorts right here in town--and this is high season.

I couldn't agree more. I thought the posting yesterday about him doing the 7-10 gig last night was a joke, until I turned the radio on. He's polished and definitely has a handle on local issues. Perhaps his emphasis on the local versus the national may play well in the evenings.

And, I only listened to Conner once. He sounded like he was on meth. An infomercial would have been an improvement...
