Leno vs Letterman goes to Leno...Again

Well, it was no surprise. That JetBlue flight attendant who fired himself was comedy gold for Leno this past week, while Letterman on the other hand cared less.

I watched only two monologues but Leno's jokes about the flight attendant didn't make me laugh.

Then again, jokes that are shouted are usually not funny.

I'm guessing this shows how lousy Letterman's show is rather than how good Leno is.

Dave has always been odd but it seems now he's just crabby and irritated.
I've been skipping both Leno and Letterman for years and only tune in to Ferguson for the chuckles.
I don't want to ever see Craig at 11:35 because his show will be completely neutered of comedy.

Dave has been on vacation since Wednesday August 4 and in reruns since Friday August 6 (Thursday August 5 was a new show, taped on Monday August 2). He returns on Monday August 23.

My 2 cents:

Leno - not funny, annoying. Jay Walking making fun of dumb people, not a nice thing for a guy who is supposed to have a nice guy image.

Letterman - sometimes funny but lately seems like he's phoning it in, not really into it. When he's into it, he's great. Not really good at interviews.

Conan - can't wait to see what he does next. Thought he was good on Tonight don't care for the crude stuff like the dog or the bear. He does a good job of interviewing. Check out his interview with Shatner and Hayden Panitier (sp?). He and Andy worked well together and I enjoyed "Twitter Tracker".

100% on the mark Rob. A friend told me to watch Ferguson and I'm so glad I did...great show.

Hey, you would be too if your affair with an intern was discovered... ::)
