Leno vs. Letterman: The battle really begins

The dust is starting to settle. Leno has a month under his belt, and Letterman is back after the NCAA tourney last week. Leno did well in March, perhaps mostly due to curiosity during the first couple weeks. Now the real battle begins. Predictions?

ZZZZZZ

Hardly. Jay has a Good Friday rerun.  Dave is usually off next Monday for NCAA Night, then takes his annual birthday vacation the following week. The Late Show is only taping two nights next week, so it may be new shows on 2/3/4 nights, depending on whether they double-up. Guest lists haven't posted yet.  Each has new shows for Sweeps (April 29 - May 26), then Dave is off for 10 days.  Dave will continue to take 10 weeks of vacation a year. Jay will continue with less than five weeks off.  Jay will have NBC-Universal stars on 3-4 nights a week to cross-promote. Dave will continue to get the major movie stars and random celebs.  In other words, the same as usual.

http://www.lateshowaudience.com has the CBS taping schedule.  And guest lists are at http://interbridge.com/lineups.html.

OK, thanks for the clarification. I assumed both would be working everyday at this critical point.
