Leo Knott, a personality and engineer at L.A. radio stations since 1979, passed away December 16.
Leo jocked at KDAY from 1979-1984, worked in audio operations at KFWB, KABC and KLOS and on-air at KJLH through the rest of the 80s, and from the 90s to the present, has been either on-air or behind the scenes at KACE, KGFJ, KRLA and KTYM.
Friend and co-worker Johnny Morris says services will be held at Inglewood Park Mortuary on December 28.
Leo was a contributor to Reelradio...and his collection has a sample of his work at KJLH.
