And a lot of the radio deals with ABC were based on everyone being in the same building or, at least, being in the same company in the same market. My understanding is that the organizers long ago... before cable and duopolies and streams... thought that a larger group of people all under the same umbrella were easier to recruit and produced greater dues revenue.That was over 50 years ago! Things have changed. Cumulus bought ABC stations out of bankruptcy court from Citadel. Agreements have time limits on them, and they don't go back 20 years.
