I had to think about where to post this. Is he classic rock? He doesn't get played there. Is he classic hits? He probably doesn't get played there either. But at one time, Leon Russell was the master of space & time. He played on pop hits of the 60s. He played on rock hits of the 70s. And he had solo hits of his own, such as "A Song For You." It was covered by hundreds of other artists. Leon died seven years ago, and finally a diverse group of artists have gathered for a tribute album of the songs he wrote.
