KCJV 97.9 Leon Springs has very recently come on the air, just heard it today for the first time. 15 watts at 76 meters HAAT.

It's playing oldies/classic soul music. Liners say things like "The best music you've never heard", and "The New 97.9 FM". The audio quality sounds great! The signal's very weak where I'm at so IDK if mono or stereo, but I can still receive it. Cool stuffzies! :)

I've listened a bit more since my last post.
The station's calling itself "No Hit Radio" and bragging about how they play the music you've never heard. And Yeah, I sure haven't heard many of these songs. It's all obscure oldies and pre-classic rock, but it sounds good!

The only info I can find on 97-9 right now is the FCC license. But seeing as they just started, I wouldn't really expect KCJV to be fully operational yet.

KCJV-LP license to cover has been filed today. :)
They aren't streaming that I could find, however if you go to GlobalTuners and make an account, you can listen by setting one of the San Antonio receivers to the following.
Mode: WFM/230
Frequency: 97.95 to 97.99 (you have to fine-tune depending on weather)
Have fun!
