Leona Lewis "Run" - Her Current Single In Her Native England

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcpWQC9prm0

Another great remake from one of the biggest pop stars on the planet, Leona Lewis. This time it's a cover version of Snow Patrol's first release, "Run".
The song's already gone Top 3 in the UK, and is in heavy rotation at London's 95.8 Capital Radio.
Will it fair well in the States?

Very good song... It's on the deluxe edition import version of Spirit which includes "Run" and the radio version of "Better In Time." I went to my local Best Buy the day before it was supposed to be released here in the States, and lo and behold there was a copy of it! Needless to say, I shelled out the $20 to get it.

"Run" is not as instant as "Bleeding Love," but then again what is? I think after about five listens I was really into it... I think it will do very well here if/when it's released. Some Canadian stations are already on it and it's generating lots of requests. The only thing they really need to do is shorten the intro a little for radio.

Z103.5, in Toronto, is the only radio station in North America playing this. The song is doing extremely well. It was their most requested song in December, and is still getting tons of requests according to the station.

The MD, at CHUM FM, said they'll be discussing 'Run' in their Music Meeting this week.

Id love to try it here,,,, but is it even licensed for US airplay at this time??????

Hey there, stranger... thanks for the correction. Given that "I Will Be" is kind of struggling here statesside (#27 at the moment) and looking like it might peak soon, I do wonder what the plans are for this in the U.S... Glad to hear a second station has now added it!
