radiobop said:ROOTSofROCK.US has all of Les Paul & Mary Ford's hits through 1954 in regular rotation. Radio Bop plays the 4-5 charted hits they had in 1955-1956.

How Ironic to lose Les Paul and Bob Bogle so close together. Can't think of another Artist/Technician as respected as Les Paul.

Steve King & Johnny Putman who host the all night show on WGN Chicago often had Les Paul on as a guest.
They did a special tribute show in his memory Thursday night.

Factual and well stated. The music industry owes a debt to Les Paul which can never be repaid.cyberdad said:"How High The Moon"
"Meet Mr. Calaghan"
"Vaya Con Dios"
"The World is Waiting for the Sunrise"
"Tiger Rag"
.....all have been in "regular rotation" on my iPod since I originally got the thing. Each one among my personal very favorites. An absolutely stunning talent. Talk all you want about Michael Jackson, Elvis, The Beatles, Hendrix, or anyone else....and not to take anything away from any of them, but has anyone/will anyone ever match Les Paul's contributions? Whatever any of the aforementioned did....and they all did a lot...the fact is Les Paul opened the door for all of them.
