Leslie Marshall "not dead yet"

Like a bad penny, Leslie Marshall is ready to infest your radio again...

R&R is reporting that Envision Radio Networks and TalkUSA Radio will launch a new syndicated show hosted by Ms. Marshall. It will run live weekdays from 3-6 p.m. EST.

Some people are amazingly resilient, huh? It kind makes you wonder just how poorly prepared and ill-informed you can be and still get your own talk show if you're a liberal woman.

So far, no takers for her show in Buffalo. In fact, the TalkUSA Radio website seems to be down. Maybe they're redesigning it just for her...

Geeez. I wish I had a dime for every hack who manages to get a "syndication" deal. This isn't 1988. In the old days, syndication meant: A) You were good--and proven, and B) You were part of an elite club.

Neither is true today. Neither.

Leslie is the epitome of a shameless propaganda/self-promotion spinmistress. If she was only as good at her "job" as she is at telling people how great she is at her job.

She'll show those suits at 500 Corporate Parkway! They'll regret letting such a talent go! Right.

Wouldn't any station interested in having Stephanie Miller on the air, just pick up HER show? Why would you want the empty-headed, watered down, poorly executed version called "The LM Show"?

With all the syndication and better alternatives available, you have to wonder just what kind of station and markets will pick up Ms. Marshall's syndicated show. The PM drive time slot isn't the best place for her to get a foothold because most stations do live, local news and news-talk in that daypart. Even when they do run syndication in PM drive, there are better shows available with established track records. Based on her performance in Buffalo,my guess is very few stations will be interested in clearing her show live in PM drive. Perhaps some station will take a flier on her and delay broadcast her late at night, but even that's a stretch.

It would be interesting to hear her complain (and chastise the audience) when she doesn't get any calls on 100 stations simultaneously, rather than just one.
