You are not. After listening to a really good morning talk show on 98.9...I'm going with a simulcast of WREC.

I wouldn't bet on it though. Just an idea.
 
Certainly a good idea for ratings to simulcast WREC on the Rock 103 frequency. However it might be too little too late. That would be the 3rd FM talk station. Also Clear Channel would lose all the revenue (as little as it may be) associated with Rock. Tough decision to make. Maybe the next General Manager will have better luck

I'm not sure 87.7 The Pointless is having any effect whatsoever, but they'd still be trailing 98.9. 98.9 made a smart move to team Ken, Bev, and Andrew this week.
 
Is it possible that Young and Elder are barking up the CC tree for a possible return to Memphis radio?
 
Young & Elder that would be a long shot. CC would actually have to pay someone a salary. Someone in management would have to sell their mother's soul to get it done

Brother Doug was hilarious yesterday morning. Free Beer and Hot Wings morning show lost their feed due to a power outage and crappy backup generator. Brother Doug came on within seconds. He roasted them hard. Then he played long stretch of classic rock. Just playing music was better than FB&HW show. 103 would be better automated. Instead of Jack FM, why not John FM (God rest his soul) or Doug FM?
 
Good for Brother Doug. I missed his tribute to Hot Beer & Free Wings. Good thing there was a live person in the building to do something live & local
