Less Infomercials for ION

ION is adding two more hours of programming daily to its lineup. This time in the late night hours. They will not be adding any new programming at this time. It will just be more of the same in the new block.

http://blog.sitcomsonline.com/2011/03/ion-adds-late-night-hours-abc-family.html

Hours ION will now be programming:

Monday & Tuesday

3PM-3AM

Wednesday-Friday

8AM-9AM - QUBO Block

3PM-3AM

Saturday & Sunday

1PM-3AM

This will bring total number of hours ION is programing something besides Infomercials to 91 hours per week out of 168. With more programming than Infomercials can we finally say that the "I" no longer stands for infomercials?

But the question is, will ION add more programming other than MASH, Earl, Criminal Minds, Without a Trace, or Ghost Whisperer?

Less infomercials is great, but you'll need more programming to show for it.

Yeah, seriously. My wife turns on Criminal Minds every night and it's always the same episode she has already seen 10 times. Unless they add something new I wouldn't really count this as an extension of programming.

Especially if the extra hours are in the middle of the night.

OK, glad I'm not the only one in that situation.
