Less Tara on GMAZ?

I've worked from home a few times over the past few weeks and watched GMAZ for 6:30am to 10am. Tara seems to have a diminshed role, primarily reporting from the "newsroom". Has Tara been demoted or just de-emphasized? Are the ratings for GMAZ declining?
 
Less is certainly, BETTER !! As stated by others, here, the chemistry among the others seems so great when Tara is missing. Just sayin' :eek:)-
 
Plus, I just noticed that wikipedia (that incredibly accurate source of all things ::)) says that Tara has been demoted to reporter.

After you posted this I immediately headed to wikipedia page and I was shocked by the update that she has been demoted to reporter/special reports.

I am just in a complete state of shock. Not sure exactly why. I wouldn't be surprised if she wants to spend more time with her step kids. I believe one of her stepkids recently graduated from ASU or a college. She was bragging about it to Johnjay & Rich and chastising them for not remembering or knowing what was going on her in life. WTF?
 
I saw a bit of their show early this morning,it was Javier Soto and who is the lady co-anchor?i think she was with channel 5 at one not sure.Yes less Tara is better.

Hi tmartin993:

That is Kaley O'Kelly. She was formarly at Channel 15. I believe she was a reporter on Daybreak and she also was a feature reporter on Sonoran Living Live.

She is a great addition to KTVK.
 
Checked Wikipedia this morning (6 July) and at 03:33 (AZ time?) someone edited the KTVK page. While it looks up to date, whoever is doing it, hasn't wrote that Bruce Haffner is now flying in a new 3TV helicopter.

Tara is under the Anchors section: "weekday mornings Good Morning AZ (6-10 a.m.) reporter" which is technically what she is.

Correct. Bruce is flying in a new helicopter, he is not flying the new helicopter. Bruce has been in the back seat running the video controls and reporting from the air but has not been shown in control of the helicopter.
 
Rick Crabbs has delivered several news report from the pilot's seat of his chopper but I noticed the last two he was actually sitting on the ground (with the main rotor turning). I've also heard him report in-flight but with no video so don't know if he was pilot-in-charge there. It does appear as if he is still reporting/piloting at the same time.
 
Kaley is on vacation this week. That brings Tara back to the anchor's desk and on air at 5:00 AM!

In the past, she would be fussing about coming in at 5am. I've heard very little 'tude from her since she has been banished to the newsroom. Still would like an insider's perspective about what's going on at GMAZ. Fenix, where are you???
 
I was watching Tara this morning and she looked tired and haggard. Her hair was a little messy and her eyes weren't as buggy as they usually are. Bet she can't wait to sleep in again once Kaley comes back. But when Kaley ultimately leaves to have her baby, will Tara be the one to fill Kaley's spot in her absence?

Good question! At first I thought Tess Rafols but they might not want to move Tess since she's doing a great job on weekends. Maybe they'll use one of their field reporters like Carina Delikat. :p

Okay, I'm so over Tara at the anchor desk...amazing how annoying she can be! Did anyone see her tell Dave Cassidy that you misses talking to him EVERY FREAKIN' DAY this week? On Thursday, she was caressing the tv monitor after she interrupted Scott and Dave's banter. Then, she basically did the same thing on Friday. ::) ::)
