Let It Snow on WMIT

I knew New Life 91.9 did it. They even play Vince Guaraldi's secular music from the Charlie Brown special.

I was amazed to hear somone playing what sounded like Manhattan Transfer singing "Let It Snow" in the dial postion of 106.9 the Light. Say what? That's not Christian. It was them! It could have been the Fayetteville station, but it wasn't.

WSOC was not all Christmas. I was surprised.
 
WRCM and WMIT both suck..they been playing the same boring songs since the stations opened..they never update their rotations..waste of 2 good fm signals..WPZS is much better.

WRCM and WMIT do not suck. WRCM is one of the most successful Christian stations in the country. If you work in radio, you should know all about demographics. I fit into the typical Christian AC demo and I like it. I do not fit into the typical WPZS demographic and I do not like it. I would rather listen to the crap they played when they were in Albemarle. And it was crap. However, just because I do not like Praise 100.9, I will not say they suck, they are just not for me. You need to stop attacking people on this board so much. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, even you.
 
Who licked the red off danielmacrae's candy? He said that no one cares about WOLS or the old Magic 96 and that WRCM and WMIT both suck. Tell that to the people who enjoyed or enjoy those stations.

And to Jim...the stuff you call "crap" that was played on 100.9 in Albemarle is called Southern Gospel.

Sorry man. I could not remember. I was not crazy about it, but I am sure there was an audience for it just like there is for nearly every station. Besides, I am a yankee..hehe. I still liked it better than the new Praise 100.9.
 
WRCM and WMIT do suck. I'm APD/MD for WQNC and WPZS. WPZS has way more listeners than either of those gay stations. Neither 1 is major enough to b listed on Arbitron. WPZS does better than our urban ac/talk WQNC. Same boring whack songs since opening. They way too conservative n just a bunch of weirdos. Our format is Urban Gospel btw and we r n Indian Trail not Albermarle. U can't dance to white music that's y white ppl can't dance and have no rhythm. Nobody cares about your listeners we Radio One we cater to the Adult Black community.

After reading his first 14 posts, it’s clear to me that Mr. McCrae is a young man with limited knowledge and very little experience when it comes to the radio business. 

It’s unfortunate that rather than learn from the ideas and opinions of the many industry veterans who post here -- he shows up with very few manners and resorts to insults and race-based attacks.  He also seems to have a problem with reading comprehension since his attacks are based on points that were never made to begin with. 

While he claims to be the APD/MD of WQNC/WPZS, I find it hard to believe that any real broadcasting company would have this character in either of those positions.

Further, he claims to be a friend of Terri Avery’s.  I wonder if she views him in the same way.

Daniel, grow up, mind your manners, knock off the "flaming" and learn from what others have to say here!
 
First rule of Broadcasting...Be nice to everybody. Today's competition is often tomorrow's employer!

WRCM and WMIT are not stations that I usually listen to. However they have a very large core of loyal listeners who $upport them by more than just listening. ;D

While I don't like stations that play the same music over and over there are listeners who do. At just about every station I ever worked for people called up to request songs I was sick to death of!

I'm going to resolve to keep my posts positive this year!
