Let me get to the point

I have a job offer to work in radio in Atlanta and im, comming from a smaller market i'm wondering what are the pros and cons of radio in atlanta?

If you are coming to work for a Clear Channel station, be sure you rent, and only on a month-to-month lease.

Its all about you. If you want to be a big fish in a smaller pond, stay where you are. Big markets arent for everybody. Thats the con. Change, especially if you have a family, can be unsettling. There are plenty of examples of people who have come to bigger market, couldnt adjust to the level of the game and left. Or their family liked their life in the smaller place they came from.

If you want to grow in the business, can find a good place to work to get your foot in the door in a market like Atlanta and can handle the move...to me , do it. The pros are obvious, bigger more active market, a nearly $400 million market, makes for better opportunity. You most importantly have to feel absolutley confident that you trust the leadership of the people wooing you.
