let the race begin

Who will go all HOHO all the time first and when ???????????
Yes lets rush the hoiliday season and see who is doing it first

My money is on Lite 94.3. I'm expecting a Holiday flip around September 1.

Automated Holiday Music = Jukebox format = No $alaries! Woo-Hoo! A little stocking stuffer for the bottom line.

This matters in mid-August because?
Only because either something at Entercom or Route 81's Blight 94 will start playing all Christmas music on the Labor Day holiday.

If they do Ro--y....errr I mean Brig...it'll be a weekend only stunt. No one will go full blown X-mas music in Sept. thru Dec. 26th...let's be serious! If they did, one way ticket to low revenue and bad ratings.

Let me explain the finer points of 'sarcasm'...

Labor Day will not happen as it is much too early. That is way the suggestion of Labor Day should be considered 'sarcasm'.

The suggestion of both posts, while heavy with sarcasm, remains that Lite 94.3 is the best candidate to flip first.

Reiterating the point of sarcasm. Lite 94.3 shall be the first to flip. Labor Day, while the sarcastic suggestion, shall not happen as it is too early in the year. Therefore, no stunting required. Just a sarcastic jab at Route 81... er Waller Sutton.

Blight 94.......now that's hilarious!!! That's almost as good as; "You've picked the nose...WNOZ, Cortland". WNOZ was WIII's calls in the late 70's when Kirby (owns the SM on the Froggy name) owned it.

Some give aways... If you could bill $20,000 on it for the life of it ( ie 4 months) It would be an ntr hit.
How much would it really cost some body to do it ??? Not alot considering the back bone is there.... Sales...Tallent.
Traffic ... Music scheduleing soft ware... You could do it and make money... Good HIGH margin money.

Ok mr advertiser for another 200 bucks you get 500 bta spots on our hd ne pa musical christmass card... krz hd 3
For the ammount of money it csots to advertise on a place matt....

Yeah except more people will see your ad on a placemat in a restaurant that's hurting for business than will hear it on HD radio. Can anyone say AM stereo?
