Let the sales begin

As I've said over and over again. Depreciated values in this antique known as radio...Let the fire sales begin. Fred? Maybe the bail out will begin this year. Anyone still think NINE is worth what they paid?Billing what? Less than 100K, maybe 200K if they're lucky judging on their spots and my analysis? There's peanut butter and jelly stands that bill more.http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12939020/

Does that include what TKC paid for the brokered programming?

Actually, I believe if Fred sells the 92's (both the 92.7's and 92.5) he'll get as much, if not more than he paid? Why? Look at the history back to Big City Radio. Each buyer truly believes their operational plan is better than the previous owner's and it's worth the gamble. Although, I'm still not convinced Fred will sell. He might change formats...Fred loves the DNC. Mid-term elections are coming up. Maybe something "progressive?" WCPT has been doing better 12+ than The Nine.

Oh God, say it ain't so Joe! Can you imagine what a colossal waste of space that would all be? What's next? Franken and company making excuses for no ratings, we already have that in Chicago on those frequencies. But it doesn't matter does it? At least TKC's checks for brokering time don't seem to be made of rubber... yet. You may as well have boy wonder and the Polish posse broker the whole station. It can't be any worse than having Harv run it all into a brick wall.
