Let's flash back for a bit...

With Jack Diamond abruptly leaving "Mix" a couple days ago, let's go back to August 31, 1990, when Q107 ended its run and flipped to Mix. Does anybody remember the first day, such as last song on the Q/first song on the Mix, have audio or anything related?

Also, in another flash back, but 9 years or so later, does anyone remember the moment (including having tape) when WGAY signed off and Jam'n signed on?

Here's some audio (but not so great audio) of Q107 flipping to Mix 107.3. This is part of a bunch of clips from the Washington/Baltimore area from 1990 that also includes B104/Baltimore's 1990 "bogus" format change stunt (it was actually a re-adjustment of their format to Adult Top 40).

The Q107-to-Mix107.3 changover is at 3:19. The first song played after the change was "Let The Music Play" by Shannon (which I thought was appropriate since she is from the DC area)

The B104 stunt is at 6:16
