Since the board is on a slow period, a question/opinion starter: Regardless of current format...what are opinions on station's processing/on air sound... which ones work, and who can use some help? All stations up for conversation

Well, I tried. Personal attacks and nonsense are what gets conversation here. Not some lame topic about how stations are sounding.. oh well. Carry on.

Don't take it personal. It's that time of year. It's cold, everyone is up to their eyeballs in Holiday ho-ho and it's pretty much a pain this time of year. Sometimes we just need non-sense.
Try this topic again in a couple months when the season has worn off... :eek:}

I kept quiet 'cuz I don't listen to much local radio. I do think that they all should have the excellent audio that WBBM (Chicago) puts on their signal. Catch it it any night on 780 AM. Good, solid sound. No pumping; seems to have good fidelity across the audio range.

When I was at an Audimax/Volumax station, I ran my board so both units' needles were right in the middle and seldom varied at all. No pumps, no strong bass clips.<P ID="signature">______________
