I remember on December 15, 1993, "105.7 and 107.1" Kiss-FM signed on and took the place of Hot 105/Hot 107. I actually have the launch/flip on tape around the house somewhere. What a great station! BTW, the first song they aired after becoming "Kiss-FM" was "Make It Happen" by Mariah Carey. Sadly, Top 40 only lasted on 105.7 until early April 1994 when the "Kiss" simulcast ended and the 105.7 signal became ARROW. 107.1 would remain "Kiss-FM" until January of '95 when it became a 70's version of "Arrow". Anyhow, who owned these signals? What was behind the demise of Kiss-FM? I also remember that on one of the last commercials before they went ARROW on 107.1 they were promising a "New tower in the months to come." Does anyone on the boards have any inside info on what happened with this great Top 40 station, which at the time between 93-94 was Columbus's only CHR when WNCI was trying to (stupidly) rip off Sunny 95 and go AC? Some of the jocks: Joe "The Ogre" Kelly(Mornings), Pete Dylan(Middays), Bo Michaels(Afternoons), and Joe Bohemma(Nights), and Blake Thunder(Weekends).
