I just want to clear something up. "Taco Mayo" bit was approved to air. It aired 3 months before the termination of "The Mo Radio Show"!! Why was Mo terminated? Well, when you go from a 5.3 to an 11.1 in your first book and beat 2 "legends" in the second trend for the first time ever, that company starts to go "uh oh", we better do something. Then, "Mo" starts getting real publicity, top story on the news, raising thousands for the OKC police department. We better do something, not only that, but he is ripping Rick and Brad on his show, making them look bad.
What do we do? Well we have been taping his show and recyclers for months now, lets listen back to all of them and find something to use. You find the "taco mayo" bit, and send it to every advertiser on "the buzz". Which by the way is a huge FCC no no!! And Citidel should have been investigated for this, and still may be, because certain people are pretty sure who did it and sent it! Small community in the radio business. Word travels fast. Citidel knows of CC's zero tolerance policy. Advertisers pull, the buzz has no choice but to fire Mo and Barreda. Only to hire Barreda back 4 months later.
That's what really happened. The Buzz was on the ups, and quite honestly can do it again. You may say the Katt can't be touched, but is can, and was. Until, basically, they soiled themselves in fear, and resorted to unspeakable methods to bust up the Buzz. What is needed at the Buzz is management that will fight back if and when this type of warfare is launched again. And it will be, if the Buzz starts winning again. just like it was a year and a half ago.
Now before the speculation, this is NOT Mo. Just someone who knows the situation very well. What the Katt did, was, one of the single most cowardly acts I have ever seen in the radio industry. So, Mr. No-Static, before you start yappin about Mo, being too edgy, and getting himself fired. Get the facts. But, you already knew them, you just choose to ignore them.
