Let's speculate on WHIZ's future, shall we?

By now, it would seem the discussion on the impending move of Z102 to Baltimore is done. However, I was listening to Jeff Ball this afternoon when he made comments about "some technical changes" and "a change for the better". I'm not sure what he was getting at, as I didn't hear further elaboration. Could this be something as simple as new equipment in the studio, however mundane? I do recall some talk of improvements at "Broadcast Hill". I guess I'm just stirring the pot...

Wouldn't *that* be an interesting thing to tell longtime listeners? "Hey guys, we're moving...and I don't mean up or down the dial!" Management would love it, I'm sure. :)
Edited by Xnewsie on 11/23/05 01:52 AM.

A ways off. I suspect they will apply for a CP for a site much closer to Columbus than the one indicated by the allocation coordinates. Won't be built until late summer at the very earliest. Move may actually be more than a year away.
