C'on guys help me get this started! What are the top 3 stations in the Odessa/Midland market? Best Dj's,Imaging,Over all promotions?

No wonder no one responded. Sorry, but radio in Midland/Odessa might as well be non-existent. :eek:
 
Actually, I've been through Amarillo, Lubbock, Abilene and Midland recently and have managed to catch some radio in each of the respective markets, now I'm not claiming to be this radio god but in my humble opinion, I gotta say the Midland/Odessa market...out of those smaller markets probably has the best stations of the bunch overall. For a smaller market, they've got good variety, couple of hip/hop stations, 3 rock stations...KBAT sounds really good, their morning guy who just does the show by himself does a real nice job, I like 95X with their variety and lean more towards the "alternative side" and FZX sounds like they've repositioned themselves recently. The KISS station sounds better than any of the top 40's in any of the other mentioned markets, especially Power 98 in Amarillo and Z102 in Lubbock...who the hell is doing mornings there now??? It's very painful... and they also have the "softer" side covered with KODM and MIX. Just my thoughts, Happy Thanksgiving to all!
