Aren't the Mays' a major stockholder in Radio One (as well as Blue Chip)? Almost 20% I think. Radio One is CC's minority partner along with Univision.
To address an above post suggesting CC would use it's might to crush a competitor, big or small? Answer is - YES. CC will use stations to flank their own and to be "spoilers" to others. Not to mention cluster selling and market share.
