Craig Ferguson mentioned it on his show. He says he is getting a larger studio.

It's about time they move him out of the closet. That building has a bunch of decent sized studios. I'm surprised that it took this long.

Love Craig's show. Glad he's sticking around for a couple more years at least.

They've used the same set in the same studio that Craig Kilborn used. The cheapness of the show is part of its charm.

Isn't that the same stage which Pat Sajak used in 1989-90? I'm certain that David Letterman used it in 1994 when he did a week of shows from Los Angeles. It was where Johnny Carson made his last public appearance.

No way that is the same studio Letterman used during the week of shows when Carson was on. Letterman used a normal sized studio. Craig's studio is so small that they have to push the desk up against the wall sideways when he does his monolouge. There isn't even room for a band.

I remember Dave making a comment that the studio for his week in LA was the same one used for The Price is Right.

That's on the first floor. Ferguson is on the second. Although he says on the show he's in the basement. Then again, so does Tom Kent.

While musical acts do perform on the next-to-last segments of the Craig Ferguson show, the size of Studio 58 at CBS Television City in Hollywood, where the show has been produced, meant that their parts are taped separately from the rest of the show and edited in, sometimes before the show; sometimes after it; and sometimes days or weeks in advance.

Hopefully, the relocation of Craig's show to a larger studio, either at Television City or at CBS Studio Center in the San Fernando Valley community of Studio City, would allow for musical acts to perform at the right moment on the same episode.

A lot of the studios at "Television City" seem to be used for Soap Operas. Studio 33 (The Bob Barker studio) is a good size. I also know they taped a lot of game shows such as "Tattletales" in studio 31 and 41. Those are good sizes too. My guess is that they will put Craig in one of those if they arn't already being used for a Soap opera.
