Can we give 'em both a zero and boot 'em off?

Neither are worth the time investment.

The Top 10 reasons not to watch (Tonight or Late Night):

10: David Letterman
9: Conan O' Brien
8: Too depressed after the late local news
7: Too sleepy
6: Have to gargle with Listerine
5: Nightline is scintillating
4: Have you seen the "skateboarding dog" on You Tube?
3: Whatever happened to that Jay fellow?
2: Tom Hanks is a guest again?

And the #1 reason not to watch:
1: There's something far more interesting in the bedroom

It's the normal week off because of the delayed start time since NBC has tennis this week.

Conan is delayed 15 minutes due to Wimbledon highlights. That may explain the ratings.

Since NBC acquired the rights to Wimbledon, this has always occured the last week of June (with Jay until this year).

Of the two (Conan and Letterman) I personally think Letterman is funnier.
Having said that I wish Letterman would go back to some of his old bits that he did years ago.
Top Ten can be a riot at times and a bomb other times.

I also agree on that. I used to watch Letterman a lot in the early 2000s. To me, he didn't seem so bitter or ill back then when compare to now. My favorite moments of the show usually involve the green-screened desk he had before switching over to the current regular desk.
