Lex and Terry gone from 104.1

The WTKS website still mentions them. No word about a move to WJRR. IMHO if they were to move, there would be announcements about it on both stations and no shows would have been missed. What may have happened was as sad as it sounds, someone didn't record their show from that morning and rather then run an outdated show WTKS decided it was easier to just run music instead. Guess you will find out tonight. I heard this once before when they forgot to tape a show off the bird that they were supposed to run on a delay and they ran music instead. Speaking of music, I couldn't help but notice that WTKS now runs two hours less music on Saturdays now.

According to cflradio.net, Lex & Terry will start Monday morning on JRR. The show will be board opt by Launa, who will also handle news & traffic. Crash is going back to middays
 
As Shannon was signing off today he said to stay tuned for The Philips Phile followed by music. Guess they are gone. Wonder if they will do something at 7pm or go music?
 
well maybe wtks may get a good show for the 7 to 11 PM time slot? that would be cool if sbk came on at that time. i love sbk live and listen every saturday night when it comes on. that would be cool if he got that sloot but i doubt it. i wished to god the hide out would come back. maybe they will? that would be soooo excelent. i think they are on wjfk in washington or something. but it will be vary interesting. well enjoy lex and terry on jrr. me personally, i don't listen to the radio much in the morning anyway. well we have a good one here. i hope clear channel decides to put something good on that slot.
 
Well this sucks! I had gotten used to tuning in to T&L at night (although I guess it will be cool to hear 'em in the morning). But does this mean I have to watch TV now at night!?!?!

Well I guess you shall see. Tune into 101.1 in the morning. I was just telling you what they said Wednesday morning, or night in Orlando's case.
 
I've never listened to Lex and Terry, do they play music or is it all talk. Please tell me they don't go on and on about hot chicks, strippers, etc. As much as I love women, I hate to hear radio personalities talk about them. It bores me to tears.
 
Yep, Lex & Terry are on 101.1. Sorry Orlando. That's a BAD move for listeners but probably a good move within the walls of Clear Channel. Here's how I see it.... You import L&T live on 101.1 for nothing and at the same time release some pressure on the Monsters at 104.1. That station continues to sink from what it was and eliminating strong competition from a LIVE and LOCAL show on JRR should help 104.1 during AM drive. But here's where CC is gonna get burned in the long run... all it's gonna take is Cox putting Bubba on 96.5 WHTQ and he'll knock out JRR and TKS in shot. Trust me... love em or hate em, it's not taking long to burn down the legendary 98Rock in Tampa and make noise in Jacksonville as well. Will we hear Bubba eventually on Cox Orlando and maybe even on their 93 Rock signal in Miami.... I'd bank on it.
 
Honestly i dont think they going to last. .WJRR is a good station to wake up to because of the good balance of news music and daily topics..

Am happy that launa is off mid day since she just sucks as a DJ and now we wont have to hear her as much as we did in the past...

But like i said i have a feeling that this will end up like bubba the love sponge..
 
I listened to about 3 minutes of Lex and Terry and it was the same run-of-the-mill, cliche crap that seems to permeate morning radio. Talking about "hot chicks", asking a woman on the phone to say "panties", etc, etc. I'm not saying that it has to be as intellectual as NPR but isn't there SOMETHING else to banter about? It's all been said and done many times over. "Panties" oooooooh that's edgy!

Import L&T for nothing? I didn't know Envision Radio was charging so little.
