Looks like 102-5 The Bone has dropped Lex and Terry, with them leaving Cox for Clear Channel. The Bone was playing music this morning, and theboneonline.com website has removed all references to them.
I from the Jacksonville board and Lex & Terry decided to jump ship and go with Clear Channel. Right now with in the next coming weeks you could hear them pop up on another station in Tampa Bay. Now in Jacksonville they will not be heard until Feburary 1st. Now what station will Lex & Terry broadcast from out of Jacksonville is unknown but rumors have them going to Planet 93.3 or the possibilty of 107.3 WROO fliping from country to rock. Also Cox dropped the show in Tulsa all other markets that carry Lex & Terry are still running the show. If you are near Gainesville you mave luck if you put it on 103.7 their.

Wonder if there ever will be another Jack Harris, Tedd Webb, Mason Dixon...people who ARE the market. People who love their town. Talented people who are part of the fabric. Is it a lost art?

The Bone would make a good home for Cowhead and Brent. Instant fanbase, local talent. A great way to snag some listeners who have been looking to fill the void that was made by the loss of C&B after the demise of Outlaw. I'd listen. I know that a lot of folks who prefer The Bone's music only tuned in to Outlaw during C&B's morning show, and put up with the country format to enjoy the show.

That would be a great idea. I liked C&B, and even Outlaw in general. You think Cox will be smart enough to do it?

I dunno... Do they have their walking papers from Infinity? If not, will they let the guys go? I must admit, the Outlaw playlist was pretty good country If there was a bit more of that type of music on WQYK or WFUS I'd probably be a bit more in touch with country music in general.

Not a chance. Cox isn't smart enough to do anything creative .
