Lex and Terry to Cumulus?

Terry said last night on his ustream show they may be going to Cumulus....I don't want to start a massive rumor or anything. But He might have let the cat out of the bag.........

It makes sense considering they are getting [EDIT] by Clear Channel in the mornings at their flagship station.......

This probably means they are going off in Dallas "again" temporarily or permanently. Cumulus doesn't have any Dallas Stations that they could go on do they?

Possibly the eagle is trying to see the return of Russ Martin in the mornings?

No, Cumulus do not have a Dallas station that Lex & Terry can go on. Where did you get this information?

Well we knew it'd only be a matter of time till someone brings up Russ's name again. Forget it people he's not coming back to radio in this town anytime soon. His best bet is satellite or internet radio.
 
Unless 570 KLIF gets an overhaul. But it is still AM instead of FM - so it is unlikely they would ever be there.

Current morning show Jeff Bolton has become an infomercial for his website t-shirts, bumper stickers, etc. He wants to get rid of all members of Congress he feels have been there too long. Novel idea but I don't want to hear about it every day for the majority of the show.

Between that & the constant breaks, I am getting the iPod out more & more for morning drive.

Hello again. Allow me to clarify what was actually said so there is no misunderstanding.

Terry's ustream broadcast covered a ton of topics, and his mention of Cumulus was a response to the Cumulus station no longer airing the show in Lake Charles. Terry simply said that he didn't, "want to blow crap on them because we might end up working for them." That is a general statement, ie: "not wanting to burn bridges". Terry also in the same broadcast explained a lot about the show's current situation and future - including online, satellite. I can see where someone could infer that, but that was not what he was trying to imply.

And why anyone would worry about "burning bridges" in this business anymore is just beyond me...
 
so true..loyality, dependability,reliability are only words in the dictionary alongside creativity, originality, local,audeince in regards to radio
