Lex & Terry in Folio Weekly

Their is a nice big interview with Lex & Terry in the Folio Weekly this week taliking with Lex & Terry. Folio is speculating (this is their opinion but could happen)that with Clear Channel having two country stations one of them is in for a shakeup. If this is true then Rooster will be gone. IF CC got rid of QIK then CC just made them selfs look like idots. Read the interview and see what view you form on the issue. I could see Planet being moved their or a Classic Rock or a hot talk format being the replacement.

just to keep l& T name in market also i do not think that a number 50 market station could support hot talk station, but what do I know.

Hot Talk....in Jax...again? Nah.

Get ready to meet Buzzard 107.3 (or as an outside shot, Planet 107.3)

Could this be the "big break" for the Gator???????????
Give us the goods, sir. This could cost CC.

WZZR/WCZR in West Palm and the Treasure Coast or WTKS from Orlando could be simulcast on whatever CC station they plan to blow up. As long as it's all local-oriented talk (hence 'ZZR), they've got the toll-free numbers, and local ad inserts in the program log. Be cheap and maybe it would work again in Jax.

Comments?

why not go to plain news talk and then CC can put Rush limbaugh on fm and take away Coxs' (WOKV) main show if you are syndicating.

That worked beautifully in Pittsburgh, but didn't make a dent against WDBO in Orlando, where Boortz and clark Howard picked up the ball nicely after Rush moved to 540.

I think Lex & Terry on Real Radio in Orlando is a no-brainer even if they don't go all talk in Jax.<P ID="signature">______________
