Lex & Terry is with CC

It is true to the fact that CC has got Lex & Terry and it seems that CC will start making room for new rock or classic rock station in Jacksonville (It seems to me they would. This is where I see a Rooster flip in which CC will give hell to Cox). They are broadcasting out of West Palm now but we know Cox will be hurting real bad now. See the story about here from the FTU: http://www.jacksonville.com/tu-online/stories/100405/met_19942412.shtml

I tend to agree. Look for a 93.3 - 107.3 swap. Also, I'm predicting that 107.3 may become a "Buzzard" format (Classic-heavy active rock), sending Planet to an early grave.

My concern is that L&T may, yet again, grow homesick for Jax, like they did when they went to Dallas. They were saved by a timely format flip out west.

Question why would cox be hurting and why do you think 93.3 and roooster will flip?
I just don't see it do you think that rock 105 will switch or do you hate cox for what they did to 96.9?

This has the potential to put a large revenue hit on COX. WFYV has been the #1 in Jax for years due to L&T. This could cost them over $4 million next year in revenue.

THe CC flip is due to the fact that 107.3 is 100,000 W, 93.3 is only 50,000. Wouldn't you want L&T on a bigger stick.

** I totally agree...Planet and the Monsters will benefit until the non compete is up then it would make since for the flip and a more 'Adult-friendly format' for L & T like classic Rock...Whatever happens it will be interesting<P ID="signature">______________

Somehow I think Cox hasn't really felt the loss of L&T and probably won't.....They are (and I'm sure you all know), a very "non personality" broadcaster....It wouldn't surprise me, either, if conversations broke down and had alot to do with the pair not being cleared on Cox's new Rocker in Miami, because they really liked being on the air in SoFla before the "there goes the neighborhood", er, station, situation, at 94.9 Zeta.
