Lex & Terry on 850 WRUF-AM?

I don't live within earshot of Gainesville radio, but the other day I clicked onto the 850 WRUF-AM streaming site through their website and was treated to Lex & Terry.

I'm well aware that Rock 104 has carried L&T for many years, but I wasn't aware that they were simulcasting on the AM, too. Are they? Or is their streaming screwed up?

I guess some state legislators gave UF some heat awhile back for running Lex & Terry on the FM, so it seems odd that they'd be simulcasting then now on both the FM and the AM.

What gives?

My first question is where did you find an audio stream link on the am850.com website? I have yet to find one. And unless I am completely overlooking something, not even Rock 104 has a live audio stream. WRUF-FM does have a sports archive link, but that isn't live music radio. Again, I will admit I may be completely overlooking something as both station websites are not very user friendly in terms of navigation.

Regarding Lex and Terry, I seriously doubt that the L&T show has been placed on WRUF-AM as part the AM 850s programming line-up. If you did hear the show on WRUF-AM, I'm sure it was some sort of a mix up and purley unintentional. That's my opinion. The L&T show, in my opinion, would never fit the overall programming on WRUF-AM as there is too much of a contrast between L&T and the rest of the day. I'm sure it was a simple mix-up.
