What does the signing of L&T by Clear Channel mean for the Monsters? Will L&T be put into the morning slot at Real Radio? Will the Monsters be moved back to 7-11?

If L&T dropped into town, it may not necessarily happen on WTKS. WTKS, thanks to some biased press, seems to really "benefit" from the Monsters.. (yawn)
I considered this when I was reading the original news of their CC signing:
WJRR's only real competition in the morning has been Howard on in the morning on O-rock, and Lex & Terry would be easy to slide into the WJRR morning slot, considering Taco & the rest of that group can easily be moved around.. (it's been done before) But this would all be based upon the premise that Orlando needs Lex & Terry. Unfortunately, (or fortunately?) I don't think we do.

I considered that possibility after I posted, and you're right. Lex & Terry would be a better fit on WJRR. I also wonder what O-Rock has in mind after Howard makes his exit. Drew? If I were Drew why would I take a part time job at a rock station after doing evenings on a talk station unless there was something in the works.
Anyway.... I have never heard Lex & Terry, but from what I have heard from other people I'm not missing much. I don't put much faith in others opinions when it comes to radio shows. I have to hear it for myself.
In any case we'll see.
PS. I'm pulling for Drew in the morning on O-Rock. That's just my two cents. (not that it means anything)

I couldn't help but notice a few Sundays ago (don't know if it's still going on , but I would venture to say yes due to the football games going on during what would be his Sunday afternoon show) Drew doing a morning show type of show that morning after 8:30 with a female co host. It contained your typical morning show content, some music, then talking about something for a bit, then commercials, then more music, talking etc, etc. All they needed was traffic reports and one would think it was a weekday. This is probibly some kind of audition for January.

I thought the 2 of them had good chemistry and I think it's great that Infinity Orlando wants to apparently hire local talent rather than try some lame syndicated show here. Mel deserves a shot a the big time and Drew doesn't suck either (IMHO).
