Lexie Kaye first jock on the River

Check out Lexie Kaye at www.lexiekaye.com. The Savannah resident (heard on 106.1 there and 103.1 Classic Hits in Hilton Head, S.C.) has some sample breaks there so you can hear her voice. And plenty of pics, too, like Jennifer Reed over at 96rock. Chris Miller told me she will start June 26 at the River from 5:30 to 8:30 a.m. She'll do four stop breaks an hour, not expected to talk much. Miller will do afternoon drive at some point down the road but he wouldnt' say when. The River will remain jockless middays, evenings and nights. Boo!Ughh...... Another reason not to listen. When did Classic Rock become AC? Yeah, I know, it's "Classic Hits!" Whatever..... I miss the days when you were edgy if you liked rock, or worked at a rock station. Now it's soccer mom radio? Come on...

It seems in order to be a female jock in Atlanta these days, you're required to have a website showing off your "assets." Blah. I can't see her on the air, so why do I care? What, am I gonna sit there doing the wang dang doodle to myself with her website up while she's on-air?Gimme a break. No, even better...give me entertainment.

It seems every new format these days is some kind of off-shoot of Adult Contemporary.

I don't know a single female radio personality I enjoy. Even the ones who are sidekicks to a bunch of guys, who are the worst IMO.
