Just to note that the quote above does not reflect the reality that the vast majority (probably more than 95%) of the "Part 15" NOUOs from the FCC are issued to unlicensed/non-compliant users of the FM broadcast band, rather than the AM broadcast band.

Hi Rich, I think what the earlier post was saying was, many FM pirates have run for months or years without any activity from the FCC. A search of the Florida Low Power Radio site indicates many non-part 15 FM'ers currently in operation. That's not to say the Tampa and Miami enforcement guys are not busy, but some stations seem to stay on the air no matter what.
