Jim Ramstad in a run for Congress.Wendy Wilde, a Democrat, plans to announce her candidacy in Minnesota's 3rd District Saturday. The Republican Ramstad has been in Congress for eight terms.Wilde, whose real name is Wendy Pareene, has worked for WCCO-AM and recently for Air America Minnesota.The DFL Party's endorsing convention is May 6.

Former MINNEAPOLIS (progressive) talk host and current Congressional candidate WENDY WILDE has received an important endorsement for her candidacy from the 3rd District DFL (DEMOCRATIC FARMER LABOR PARTY) Delegation at its Congressional Convention on SATURDAY (5/6). WILDE told the delegates, "We must be unified and strong, and work together to take back our Congress from those who are hurting our country with corruption, bad decisions, and enormous debt."
