License to cover for KENP Las Vegas

Eastern New Mexico University has filed for a license to cover for 88.1 KENP, relaying the KENW-FM network in northeastern and east-central New Mexico, and replacing a translator on the same frequency.

So Las Vegas (New Mexico, just to be clear) now has three full-fledged NPR member stations: KENP; 91.1 KEDP, carrying Albuquerque's KANW; and 91.9 KRRE, carrying Albuquerque's KUNM.

And listening the KENW-FM online stream indicates that KENP is now included in the network's top-of-hour ID, so I can reasonably assume that it's on the air.

Always a bit jarring to hear the ID for KENU's city of license as "Des Moines" with both s's pronounced (which is correct for the New Mexico village)!
