* Liddy and Hill to 960 *

The two, now with their recent Jones syndication deal, will begin early next week on Salem's KKNT as a local show. The national show, which was originally in line to start today, has been bumped to early October once Jones is satisfied with the setup.

One would presume that SRN talker Hugh Hewitt will be DBed into early evenings as he often is where Salem O&O's take Savage. And Mike Gallagher gets left with late nights and perhaps no clearance at all if 960 airs any Wildcats basketball games during the week.

On that horrid night signal, what's the difference? <P ID="signature">______________

Gallagher is basically "slightly better than static" anyway.

Still won't listen to Liddy and Hill, brainless, unfunny banter by two lightweights.

I like Crummey, Boortz, Hendrie a whole bunch.

Leibo is OK, Hewitt is pretty good, All comedy radio is much better without Bonaduce. The God show is pretty good, even John Dayl is fun to listen to (cough, hack, phlem snort) from time to time.

I'm not Jeff though.

I like Liddy and Hill o.k., but I actually like them more in person than on the radio these days...

But I DO like listening to Hugh Hewitt on my way home. He's intelligent and interesting.

So, this kinda s-u-x.

They had good issues to deal with in PHZ/ AZ ---the minutemen, the citizen's arrest of illegals by a off duty soilder, proposition 200, power outage, gas prices etc. and they failed to capitalise on them... and as you say just stuck to lightweight banter....I don't think they are conservatives ---just moderates with a "liberalterian" bent...they just know that right wing is where the audiance/money is now..maybe they should do a show for the republican log cabin club?
