I haven't read anything recently about Liddy and Hill on this website. I heard them tonight on 960 at 7:30 p.m. Anyone have any scoop on how they are doing on their new station? I think they are syndicated now. Does anyone know how many stations they are on or have any comments about how they are doing?

They still suck, but now more people potentially know that they suck.

They blew it. They had a niche doing a combo of local and national issues. Now, they're just another syndicated national show, and there's way too many of those.
The real problem is, they'll never get back on KFYI in afternoon drive.
Give them credit, they took a risk, but it's one that a lot of people in the radio business could have told them not to take...

That's not the problem. Being on 9-Sixty after 5pm for the next six months is like a one way ticket to Ajo!

Mehbee...depends how badly they burned the bridge. Nurse Jeff and I aren't sold on Crummey in PMD and the new night talker is annoying.

Agreed. We'd like to hear 'em on KT'R instead of Tony Snow..Ted Simonds..Heidi & Ted..etc. The Nurse and I didn't think the men in secret underwear could screw it up more than the Emmis Brain Trust. But they're trying!

It could be worse, you could have "Dining out with Don and Kim" the most surreal awful waste of radio air time around. Or 6 year old Matt Gerson broadcasts where he is talking about the presidential race.
Maybe TAR should do a happy homemaker show with that Rita chick from my childhood in the 70's, I can just imagine avocado colored kitchens now....
