3-6, huh?

Up against #3 Savage, frequent delays of #2 Hannity, live PMD shows on the west coast, sports on the east coast, etc, etc.

Any top ten markets lined up?
NY-???
LA-???
Chicago-???
SF-KNEW late nights, maybe
Dallas-???
Philly-???
Houston-???
DC-Arbitron no-show WMET, long shot
Atlanta-WSB late nights
Detroit-???

Recent syndicated launches of local shows include Bill Cunningham of WLW, whose 9-mid ET show reached 7 or 8 stations before he pulled the plugged for family reasons. Joe Scarborough's show (has the hiatus begun yet?) was claiming KNTR as a Phoenix affiliate for the longest time before KXAM picked him up with Imus. His affiliate list isn't exactly huge or impressive, despite knocking Liddy Sr. off in DC and elsewhere.

Tammy Bruce, approaching the 1 yr. anniversary for weekday syndication, has few stations signed up, recently dumped from KFNX, and shifted to late night and overnights on stations like KOMA (who, like most of her station, were "advised" to take her in order to keep Savage). The only true success of the last 12-18 months (save liberal hosts) would be Jerry Doyle, who claims 200 stations, some of which only carry the Saturday night show, and part of that success has to be attributed to the Savage effect. Of course, other shows have fallen off significantly, ie Rusty Humphries, in the wake of exploding success from hosts like Hannity, Savage, and Ingraham.

Since when does beating Pppprestron and TED SIMONS in 25-54 qualify one for a much ballyhooed national show? And how long can this trend of syndicating Rush-Hannity wannabes really go on?

BTW, no mention yet: http://jonesradio.com/NewsTalk/index.html

Scarborough

> Joe Scarborough's show (has the hiatus begun yet?)

Yes. He's supposed to relaunch in a few months.
