Once in a while on this forum, someone brings up the short-lived "Solid Gold 102" and makes a comment or two about why he/she thinks the station went bye-bye's and why Woggle has survived into the new millenium.
But during the same time period, Philly had two FM Soft Rock/AC stations...EZ 101 and Kiss 100. From what I remember, EZ was more contemporary (as is the B to this day) and Kiss played older MOR stuff such as Barry Manilow, Humperdinck, and The Carpenters. (I think)
Am I remembering this correctly? And if so, does anyone wish to comment on the Kiss 100 days and either compare/contrast the station with EZ or give an opinion as to why that station didn't survive? I can't remember how long Kiss was on the air but I think it disappeared around '92 or '93.
