Lifetime does an American Pickeresque show called Picker Sisters

http://www.mylifetime.com/shows/picker-sisters
This show features 2 women trying to be like the American Pickers guys from the History Channel.
Also I noticed reruns Pawn Stars airing on Lifetime. But those shows great. I noticed TruTV did a Pawn Stars like show called Hardcore Pawn and A&E does a picker type show called Storage wars. I say the rip-offs will never beat the original brand from History.

Lifetime, A&E and History (and networks related therein) are commonly owned by a JV between Hearst (42.5%), ABC (42.5%) and NBCU (15%). Lifetime was bought by this group in 2009.

So such a spinoff only makes sense.

If they are trying to be like the American Pickers, I guess one gal likes to burp a lot
and the other doesn't believe in using deodorant. :D

I Understand that Lifetime has to borrow shows from the History Channel in able to prove that they are different from WETV, Oprah and Oxygen. I guess they can be the Herstory Channel. ;D ;) :) . But More men will watch Lifetime for Pawn Stars Reruns and Sister Pickers so its a good move

Hardcore Pawn on TruTV is so much different then Pawn Stars. Pawn Stars shows history items being pawned such as; war items, early American items, etc. While Hardcore Pawn is more of the drama end as the brother and sister always fight and they show the customes always yelling and more beeping out.

I think I walked into Hardcore Pawn Wannabe the other day. The dude behind the counter was cussing up a storm, talking about nothing. I guess at least one person's seen the show, or he hit his finger with a hammer all that morning. ;D

But just watch -- I'll bet the History channel will pick up a few reruns of "Picker Sisters" in the future, just like they did with A&E's "Storage Wars".
