Lightning Knocks Cox/Tulsa Cluster Off Air

I wonder if it got their UPS system or something. I feel for the guys up there. That's an engineers biggest nightmare. Good morning. You're whole cluster is dead-air... I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Good work Cox engineering gang on getting it all back up and running in only a few hours after this kind of a hit!

Aircheck -- here is the deal on that.

The translator at Springdale on 102.7 is set to repeat KSSQ, the low power FM at Siloam Springs which is also 102.3... Usually they are playing the Seventh Day Adventist programming from the station in Gravette.

So when the Siloam FM is off the air (which is quite frequently) KRMG tends to blast into NWA on 102.7.... I was shocked one morning when I heard Rush on that frequency and thought KFAY had gotten themselves a translator.
