Like, Dig Those Crazy Trends, Cats

What's with those crazy 12+ trends? Start out normal enough — Mix, Beat, 92Q, River, Big 98 in first spots with Wolf bouncing in — but...

  • The Zone taking #7? Beating sister KDF? Besting WTN, 105.9, and Jack?
  • WTN taking #8, besting 105.9, KDF, and Jack?

And look at Davidson's AM Gospel station... it's besting the Party now? Well, and of course, NFN.

Man, if I am NFN, and I'm continuing to scrape the bottom of the ratings tier with this AMer doubling my numbers, I am so going to start programming Urban Gospel. It's obvious there's a market for it, my signal spread is pretty much urban, and I can make the music sound better on FM.

And if I'm the Party, I'm not worried, because I'm pulling 4.3 to land the #5 spot in market 195.

Of course they're just trends, 12+ trends at that.

Being a TV guy, I don't know the answer to this...

W271AB 102.1. Relaying Party's HD2 which is in turn relaying a translator in Clarksville which is in turn relaying a Clarksville AM station which has been running urban gospel for a few years.

Does it get counted in the numbers? Nashville market, or just Clarksville?

I have long thought that 106.7 would be the obvious choice to become the first hispanic FM in Nashville, if and when that time ever comes. However, your idea, based on the ratings, might actually be better than mine.
