Gee! I waited all last week for Power 105.7 to go spanish. Still waiting. Things are not going to change in Northwest Arkansas radio guys. Nobody wants to be creative here at all. The only stations that sound decent here is "The X" and "The Fan". I am not a big fan of the music "The X" plays,but with that format, they do a great job. The have survived all the corporate competition. This market is not going to change. Get use to hum drum radio in Northwest Arkansas.
 
you've got to be kidding...grant it the stations blow like a dancer at bottoms up but please...get your tongue out of butlers ass the x sounds decent? yeah like a decent small town pirate station. Radio will change one day as long as the people running things now leave town or expire in their sleep!
 
Name me on station that sound better than "The X". Don't say any Clear Channel or Cumulus stations, because they all suck!! Mix and Power are AWFUL!!!!
 
i think 106.5 is much better than the "x". not to mention 101.1. those two stations are programed better than any Buttler station! I heard the x is going to change format next week anyway...it's going to be all Vault Commericals back to back. They are doing it for trade too! A years supply of Vault, Coca-cola, and Dasani for each employee...YAY!

While y'all are wragging on eachother, you should take some grammar lesson's. "Believe me, their accountants write fiction just as good as we do." what you mean is "their accountants write fiction as well as we do." Do you think butler would trade with Dickson St. Book Exchange for some Text books. Hell you could sell them back as soon as you graduate from English class. Think steve would let me borrow his yacht (and I'm loosely using the term Yacht) for the winter, or will he be doing a contest for the use of the boat and the party pad in FL? just wondering, i'll be at Flap Jacks listening to the Faris Bueller theme music over and over again everytime I crack the mic in the morning! Holla Yo

I like paper myself. The manufacturing of paper does less to the enviroment. Every little bit helps! I'm sorry if i upset ya. I don't mean to be an ass. just wanted to jump on the ------ talking bandwagon. And when will you have the "best of The All-New AM X ripped off from a website and tagged with our voice guy and the english chick that says the same phrase after every piece of imaging, bits"? Can't wait to for that one! Hell, you could even play Coldplay at 6:30 every morning! After that maybe some Jack Johnson and Bush back to back! That really fits the New Rock Alternative format! Get a sweeper that says, "Also heard on Magic 1079, Power 1057, Mix 1019 and Y949!" But you have to have the english VO chick close with, 1049.....The X. That would sound great!

Butler - there were some good points about the old stuff
Clear Channel - Look no farther than the PD's for the junk over there
Cumulus - ok but what's this about the wattage issues on one of the stations?

I'm almost happier with NPR or the KLRC
I like Chuck on KFAY he's all they've got.

Just my opinion...here's to playing it safe :)

At least you have a new rock station that plays more than active rock recurrents. The X is sounding good. Keep it up, Jackson and crew.
