like what i hear on wkcs 91.1fm

i live in loudon county but i do listen to wkcs 91.1 on the computer and i like what i hear. i know it is a high school station. it is a mix of oldies 98.7, wjxb 97.5 format when they first started and wmyu u-102 when it was on the air. if you live in downtown knoxvile, north knoxville, south knoxville or west knoxville you need to try this station out. i know it has a weak singal and i hope it gets stronger signal soon. i can pick it up on a car radio till i get to clear buff road pretty good and then it is gone.

WKCS has wonderful on air audio. They only run 100 watts. Their engineering and programming is first rate. Cedar Bluff is the farthest their signal goes short of luck and really fine tuners and outside antennas.

right now this is the only station i listen to in the knoxville area and i have to listen to it when i am on the computer. wkcs has 310 watts now. i made a call to the station and that was the info i found out. told them they were doing a very very good job. :)
