According to the Robert Feder's Columm this morning,
It had said that Tommy Edwards, who signed off in August as morning personality, program director and operations manager at Clear Channel Radio's former "Real Oldies" WRLL-AM (1690), is ready to make a comeback.
The Chicago radio veteran is expected to join Bonneville International's rhythmic oldies WILV-FM (100.3) as afternoon personality. Look for a deal to be finalized this week.
At "Love FM," Edwards would succeed another veteran programmer, Chris Shebel, who's been filling in as afternoon host for several months. Shebel is leaving to become operations manager of Clear Channel Radio's cluster of stations in Raleigh, N.C.
My idea of this is to get rid of Scott McKay and put him on Love FM and put Tommy Edwards and Larry Lujack on in the mornings on True Oldies 94.7 by making that switch...
