Lima-OH

Shouldn't this be on the Ohio board? Anyways, wouldn't it be something if Maverick bought at least the heritage stations T-102 and WIMA? I look forward to hopefully T-102 and WIMA going back to being live and local like they were before CC bought 'em. Too bad CC got rid of Gordy, Steve Lewis, and countless others. T-102 was an interesting stations up until about 10 years ago.

Where IS Gordy...We miss him!

For awhile I think, rehab. CC otherwise let him and Steve Lewis go, I beleive when the Lima book came out and Froggy 93's numbers for that one book were better then T102's. When I was in the T102 listening area a little over a year ago, Gordy was doing a live remote for St. Marys Chrysler, so at that time, he was still around, kinda.

Speaking of Lima ... is anyone watching the store at WBUK 106.3?

Last couple times I listened to them they had voice tracks misfiring, two and sometimes three spots running at once, spot sets that would run and rejoin the music in progress, etc. It was so horrible that I airchecked it and sent it to some friends. :)

OTOH.... a while ago I was listening to Coast to Coast on WIMA 1150 one night, and during the break they played a WNCI forecast.

Too bad a local owner can't take over this cluster. :(

I noticed that too, some time ago, especially during afternoon traffic reports. I couldn't figure out if they were still voice tracked or satellite.

They seem to run Jones Network with Ted Richards, (with the backsell by an unknown announcer at 1/3rd volume), in the morning. This afternoon when I popped by them, I didn't recognize if it was VT or Jones. I just get the feeling nobody is watching what's going on.
